Unlike the Surge King™, the unit includes a warning buzzer to indicate that power has been restored, an actuation/function indicator neon and a reset button. Voltages over 275v will be effectively clamped. The unit will respond to a surge in less than 25 nano seconds. Maximum continuous current is 5 amps. Operating voltage is 230V AC. Leakage current is less than 1 mA and filtration 20dB. All connected equipment remains earthed even when unit is in isolation mode or un-reset.

If there is a brown out on 3 phase supplies or if the voltage drops below 180v, the unit will go into isolation mode, effectively protecting equipment. If data retention is of a very important matter then this unit can be fitted before a UPS.
When power is restored then a buzzer sounds to remind one to reactivate the unit.
